Are there any height and weight requirements for this pageant?
Beauty is not judged by body measurements. Our pageant will judge every contestant individual, looking for personality and body proportion. Rests assure that there are no height and weight requirements.

Will the photo I send in be returned to me?
Unfortunately, the photo will not be returned to you. Miss Rockland Inc. must keep the photo along with the original application o file. In the event that you win the pageant your photo will be forwarded to the Miss New York/USA Pageant.

What happens if I can't get my registration material in before the deadline?
Deadline are very important to us due to the fact that timely program preparations are needed. It's understood that unexpected circumstances do arise and can't be avoided. We realize that sometime the collection of sponsorships may take longer than expected. if an extension is needed call pageant headquarters @ (845) 709-3843 or email us at www.missrocklnadinc.com to request a new deadline.

Who are the judges?
The judges consist of influential people in the modeling industry, entertainment industry, Pageant industry as well as people in business community.

Is the pageant an "Official" preliminary to the "Miss New York/USA Pageant?
By no means is this pageant an official preliminary. However, the winner will be representing Rockland County and well be provided sponsorship to enter into the "MIss New York/USA Pageant".

How do I get tickets for family and friends?
You will receive tickets that you can pre-sell, whether t family or friends. Tickets can be purchased via credit card online at www.missrocklandinc.com or tickets can be purchased in cash at the Pageant. Please keep in mind that the show may be sold out, so its best that they purchase tickets from you or online.

Are the tickets assigned seating?
The seating for the pageant will be divided into two sections. "Platinum Seating" will be in the front of the venue. "General Admission" will be the rest of the venue.

What kind of photo should I send in for the "Official" pageant program book?
Large photos or wallet size photos need to be included with your registration material. This will be included in the pageant program book. REsts assure that you will not be judged on the picture you send in. Please make sure that you put your name and address on the back of the photo.

Can my family or friends take photographs or videotape the Pageant?
Family and friends are permitted to take photos of contestants from there seats only during the preliminaries and finals. However, video cameras are not permitted at the pageant.

Can I wear wrap or sarong with my swimsuit?
The winner of our pageant will receive sponsorship to the "Miss New York/USA Pageant" and it's not in the governing rules of there pageant. This wouldn't be fair so we cannot allow any type of wrap or sarong t be worn during the swimsuit portion of the pageant.

When will this year's contestant's photos be posted on the website?
The photos will be posted approximately one week prior t the pageant.

Can anyone purchase ads in the Pageant program book?
Once we have received all your registration material we will send out to you another packet containing information on how to secure a page to showcase yourself. This is also open to all sponsors.

Will my sponsors be listed on the website?
Yes. Next to each contestants photo will be the names of there sponsors

Do I need to wear a different gown from the preliminaries to the finals?
No. We reccomend that you wear the same gown. In all pageants you will find that each contestant will wear the same gown to the preliminaries as well as to the finals.

What should I do if cash is given to me by my sponsors?
If sponsorship is received in cash you may put cash into a money order or personal check. If your cash exceeds the sponsorship fees you do not have to send in cash. Please do not send in cash through the mail at any time.

What should my family and friends wear to the Pageant?
Formal wear to business casual is recommended.

How can I order professional photos or videos of the Pageant?
Approximately two to three weeks prior to the pageant you will receive an order form for both the photos as well as the videos. If you would like to purchase either of the two just fill out the order form and send it in along with a check or money order.
